お誕生日のお菓子などの持ち込みについて
Celebrating birthdays with snacks/goodies
アメリカの学校やインターナショナルスクールでは、一般的にはお誕生日の子ども（とその保護者）がプレゼントやお菓子などをクラスの皆の為に準備をします。 その習慣に則って、ご希望される方はPixiでのレッスンの時にプレゼントなどを持ち込んでいただき、クラス内でお誕生日をお祝いする時間を数分とらせて頂きます。 ※こちらは希望者のみですので、必ずしないといけないものではございません。
クラスでのお子様の誕生日を祝いを希望する場合は、以下のルールをお守りください。
お祝いをする日の1週間前までに、お菓子やプレゼントなどを持ち込む予定がある場合は教室に連絡してください。
お友達の中には、食物アレルギーや食事制限があるお子様もいらっしゃいます。そのため、お菓子を持ち込む場合は、その内容をお伝えください。お菓子などは基本個装されているもののみでお願いします。
プレゼントを持ち込む場合は、お友達全員に配るようにしてください（先生にはプレゼントは必要ありません）。
全員が楽しめるように、ご配慮をお願いいたします。 ※お子様の誕生日が過ぎてしまっても、お祝いしたいという場合は、問題ありません。教室に連絡してください。 ※※参考までに良くあるプレゼントはシールや、お菓子、文房具、小さなおもちゃなどです。
Dear Parents,
We are happy to announce that we are starting a new tradition in our class: for those who wish, students can bring snacks and goodies for their classmates on their birthday. This is a great way to make your child feel special and share their joy with their classmates. The tradition for the birthday boy/girl to bring in treats is very common in International schools and we think it will be fun and meaningful for our students. ※Please note participation is not mandatory.
If you wish to participate, please follow these rules:
Please let us know at least one week before your child's birthday so that we can arrange some time in the class schedule for the celebration.
As some of the classmates may have dietary or allergy concerns, please inform us of the ingredients of any sweets you are bringing. We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the treats safely.
Please make sure all classmates receive a gift to be inclusive (no need to prepare for teachers). We want to foster a sense of community and friendship among our students.
If your child's birthday has already passed but you still want to celebrate, no problem. Just let us know and we will accommodate your request.

ハロウィーンパーティ2023 のお知らせ
先生も、生徒の皆さんも大好きなキャラクターに変身してレッスンに参加しょう！ **10月25日(水)〜31日(火)**のクラスでは、特別にコスチュームパーティ・ゲーム・トリックオアトリートその他楽しいアクティビティを企画しています。 お友達を1人、クラスにご招待OKです！人数把握と準備のために事前にお知らせください。
Halloween is coming up - let's start working on a costume ready for the party!
This year we will have our special Halloween party in each class during halloween week: October 25th Wed - 31st Tuesday! Costume party, games, trick-or-treating and more! If would like to invite your best friend, you can come with one guest. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare everything for your friend.

教室で取り組むSTEAMとはどんなものかを簡単に説明した資料と今度教室でお配りするMy power of YET* （秋学期の目標を子どもと考えよう）がこちらからご覧いただけます。 My power of YET* とは：うまくいかないときのまほうのことばは「まだ」できないだよ。ちょうせんをつづけると、できるようになる！I say "I can't do it YET" and keep trying

読書の秋イベント Book Drive
皆様のお家に、もう読まない英語の本はありますか？
読まなくなった英語の本をPixi Academyの教室に寄付していただき、その本を11月にBOOK SALE（1冊100円で販売、子どもたちが自分で選んだ本を購入）するというイベントを開催します！ 本の売り上げは、Pixi Academyでの12月のクリスマスパーティのギフトなど、子どもたちみんなが喜んでくれそうなことに還元します。
読まなくなった本を他のお友達へ、そして子どもたちには自分で選んで買った英語の本を大事にしよう、という楽しいイベントになると嬉しいです。
本の募集期間：10月11日（水）～10月31日（火）
いつものレッスンの時に教室にお持ちください。
種類：絵本・図鑑・ワークブック・Graphic Novelなど
本の対象年齢： 2歳～12歳ぐらいまで
※場所の確保のため、寄付する本は １人１冊まで
本の販売期間：11月1日～30日（予定） この期間にいつものレッスンに来る際にお子さまに本の代金：100円を預けていただき（おつりの無いようご協力お願いします）、お子様が好きな本を選んで購入していただけます。
